I’m an Irish artist and teacher living and working in the beautiful seaside village of Ardmore Waterford. Inspired to pick up a brush 30 years ago, my interest and skills have taken me from attending that first class in Ireland through to training in Florence and eventually into a full-time career.
I’ve been teaching art for over 30 years and I enjoy this as much as creating my artwork.
I love my job and I’m constantly inspired by the landscapes and the warmth of the people nearby.

I’m looking forward to starting a watercolour course at Greywood Arts in Killeagh this month I believe that the class is full but there is a waiting list and so if you’re interested in joining me please contact

After completing the last of the portraits for 2025 I have put down the oils for a while.
Watercolour is an exciting, risky and creative mediium and when it works there’s nothing like it. I’m also experimenting with a new way of contemporary framing for the paintings. My studio looks like an industrial unit at the moment but I should have the prototypes ready in the next couple of weeks… it’s busy.
